I give you: The Duck Slippers.
I took Monsoon to get house shoes from Target last winter because he refused to wear socks and his toes were always icy. Despite my every effort to sneak some decent, respectable slippers into the cart, he insisted on these. The Ugly Ducks. Oh, how I hated these things, but he dearly loved them. He wanted to wear them everywhere! Everywhere!
After months of hearing me snicker under my breath about the unending ugliness of those awful Ducks (bigger than his head, for Fuzzy's sake!), Hubby asked me to take into consideration my own style-discerning downfall:

Haha! I still sport the reindeer slippers my BFF gave me for Christmas my senior year of high school! They're bigger than MY head! So proud of you right now!
My own slippers are pink with little chickies on them. I'm actually kinda jealous of Monsoon's ducks!

Hailey wants bunny slipers that squeak when you walk - don't know where she has seen them but she is obsessed..though she is obsessed with all things "shoe"
Oh! I love the duck slippers. My little guy is obsessed with shoes and slippers of all kinds. He entertains himself for hours at a time with shoes/boots/slippers. I have to find some duck ones. :)
I got mine some that were about that size (HYOOOOOG) and designed like big high top sneakers. They make him look like he wears a size 12 man's shoe. So hilarious. Like your little one, mine wants to wear them everywhere.
Don't slippers just make you want to celebrate? I think one day each week should be "wear your slippers to work/school day". Maybe you should start the movement!
