Sanity or Patience: choose one.

Do you ever have one of those moments where you think, "HA! I am sane!" Then you step in dog poo with your bare feet and remember it was your idea to get the puppy...?

Thursday's Things: Park It

The Neighborhood Park: One of my favorite things about living in our small town. We got to visit "the park" yesterday for the first time this year. These pictures are from our last visit, way back in November, as we were too consumed with excitement to remember the camera this time.

Doing things a little differently today. No Mr. linky (but anyone who wants to participate and post about any THING is welcome to leave a comment and I'll visit). Instead, you all get a tiny story.
Today, two brothers (about 3 & 5) came over to play next to us on the caboose, which you can see in the second photo. The oldest one said to me, "Jesus is in my heart." I found this quite endearing. Then he tried to shove his little brother off the caboose.

I posted about a few things today...including a night in shining armour. I can't wait until we can go to the park again.

Maybe he has Jesus confused with Cain and Abel?

The pictures look so sunny! Yay spring!

Wanted to respond to your comment:
Yes, people often say platitudes that they think make us feel better but really makes them feel better and makes us feel worse.

Jesus was in his heart, but maybe Satan was in his mind. LOL! Love the pics.

Me=Fail. I missed it again. Because I was sitting at my desk just now putting my Burt's Bees hand salve on thinking, "I think this would be my favorite thing. Hey! I can do that thing thing over at Optimistic Cynicism. I wonder when it is again..." Way to go me.

Love the Neighborhood Park. I'm still in the process of finding them in my new neighborhood. I can't wait until the winters loosens its grip and we can go play regularly.

I can see my house in your first photo! Well, my childhood home anyway... Call me when you want to go to the park again, we'll get sitters and then we can play on the swings!
