Sanity or Patience: choose one.

Do you ever have one of those moments where you think, "HA! I am sane!" Then you step in dog poo with your bare feet and remember it was your idea to get the puppy...?

And The O.P.I. Goes To....

I'm changing my name to Ryan Ashley Stupid. Same initials, see?
First off, you might as well read this instead of just scrolling down to see if you won because if you are the winner, I've already told you. Now that I've insulted you by calling you a loser, let me get on with how stupid I am (incidentally, I just spelled stupid as sutpid and had to change it - very ironic). Some of you may have laughed at me yesterday when you figured it out... some of you may not have read how I planned to do things "the old fashioned way." You could say I was naive, you could say I was being modest, but I honestly did not expect to have more than 50 entries to write out. By hand. And cut into individual bits. All because I'm not techie and figured, "eh, I don't want to waste time trying to figure out that random.org thing." I doubt it would have taken me two and a half hours to figure it out. Now I know! Rest assured, every single entry was written, albeit sloppily, and accounted for.
There are around 300 entries in this gigantic bowl.
I made him "swirl" his hand around to mix 'em up before he grabbed one. Being blind-folded was new, and "dark in here!"

We have a winner!
(Thank goodness his ears are clean today)

Congratulations to Michelle from Honest and Truly!
Since you all aren't jealous at all, go visit her blog and show some love.

A big fat thank you to everyone who participated. I hope you all had as much fun commenting and brown-nosing as I had reading your messages! Can't thank you enough for the biting cramp in my hand. Looking forward to visiting all your blogs; hoping it doesn't take a year to get to them - that would be rude.
By the way, does anyone else's butt and back feel like they were sitting on a rock, hunched over all day yesterday? Huh...

Well, I was going to pick my winner the old fashioned way too. However, I am now rethinking that! Congrats to the winner! It was fun:0)

That was a lot of work, but at least you got a few good pictures of the kiddo from it.
I had a few encounters with the stupid yesterday, too. Don't worry. Our brains will return when our kids leave for college. :)

Oh yeah, I totally have the Spring Fling Hunchback going on. An unforeseen and really unwelcome side effect.
I hope you're hand has recovered :)
And, you little man looks adorable performing his name-picking duties.

All those colorful bits of paper! I bet your little one loved picking a winner.

Please stop by my blog, Eat at Home and leave a comment today. Each comment is worth $1 for the Global Food Crisis fund and all you have to do is comment. SITS girls are great at that!

Congrats to Michelle!

And thanks for the laugh! :) My butt is killing me from sitting down yesterday...which is why I should really be doing something else than being on here again writing emails and sending comments.

Oops. I missed this one. Well, on the brightside, you did not have to write my name, at least. ^^ Sorry about that, though. You are just too popular, I guess.

Congrats to Michelle on winning the contest. Tell Monsoon I said to peep through the blindfold and find my name next time. Do I sound jealous because I am? I can't believe you wrote all of those out by hand. There is this new invention called a computer.......LOL!

Well I think he did a GREAT job picking the winner. How smart IS that kid, anyway? Thanks again for this ... I can't wait to play with my new toys :)

And ummm ... wow. 300 entries is a TON. I can't imagine doing all that writing and cutting. I promise, random.org is easy!

Oh, sweetie. E-mail me before you try to chose the winner of your next contest. I will do random.org for you. No need to write out 300 names. What were you thinking?

That being said, I adore your commitment. You are a much more dedicated blogger than I will ever be. :)
