Sanity or Patience: choose one.

Do you ever have one of those moments where you think, "HA! I am sane!" Then you step in dog poo with your bare feet and remember it was your idea to get the puppy...?

Dear Dad: About Mother's Day?

Scary Mommy is having a Queen Bee giveaway, so go here to check it out and read about her plans for Mother's Day.

Dear Dad,

Are you kidding me? You bought three tickets to a Reds game on Mother's Day. I can understand how that may have sounded like a good gift for mom and Candy and me, all of us getting out together, even if it is a ball game... but wait. Those tickets aren't for us. They're for you, my husband and Candy's husband. A special man's day at the ballpark. How sweet. Pffttt!!!

So I'm not mad. No, I'm not. Neither is Mom, and neither is Candy. Because for Father's Day, you are treating the three of us to a day at the spa. Don't forget the limo.

All my love,

R.

Is this some sort of payback for him being clueless about the Push It song until he read your post? Haha, just kidding. Enjoy the spa!

Hello from SITS!
Loved the post... typical male thing, but ya can't really ask 'what were you thinking' you know? Obviously about an awesome game!
So you will obviously have to think about peaceful bliss and cucumber slices with mud masks for Fathers day... all's fair!

That ranks right up there with getting slutty lingerie for your birthday. "Gee honey, when would you like me to rock this gift you bought me for yourself." LOL

I've tagged you for an award, come on down and get it!

Hi!! It's been so long since I've been by. I had to take a blog break last week for personal reasons. I think I'm back in the blogging business for now. I hope it will be different this coming week. Miss hearing from you. Have a great weekend!!

You are kidding right? He did not really do that... Well if he did you must get a spa day or he's on the black list.

When you get a chance hop over to TAG. :)

Oh yeah, sister...you are so going to the spa! You should have them throw down a little spending cash too! lol! Men!

How funny! Or um...not funny! I guess I can sympathize with your dad since I love sports. But, it is Mother's Day and baseball season is just beginning so there will be tons of games. Have fun at the spa!!! I totally think he should get y'all that.

Well, let's see. Once there was the Xmas gift-a "little black dress" 2 sizes too small. Perhaps he was thinking of his "other" wife? Then the lovely set of cookware for my b-day, but I thought he had an ulterior motive then, too-perhaps to keep me in the kitchen? PS: Don't forget today's Silly Sunday Sweepstakes!

Such a classic dad move. You should throw dinner into the spa package as well.

He did WHAT?! No way!

I agree, a spa day with limo included sounds like the perfect treat for Father's Day.
