Sanity or Patience: choose one.

Do you ever have one of those moments where you think, "HA! I am sane!" Then you step in dog poo with your bare feet and remember it was your idea to get the puppy...?

New Doggy Door

Exciting news: we have a new doggy door, which gives Sprinkles more opportunities to meet with the grass for her business. Yay for 2 entire days in a row with no in-house accidents!

Oddly, instead of hoarding my fuzzy slippers and Monsoon's popsicle mold "swords" in her bedroom (cage), I stepped out back yesterday and realized that half of our worldly possessions were scattered across the grass. I think maybe our Easter Puppy is confused about what type of goodies constitute an egg hunt/gift basket.

Did I mention the new doggy door was custom made, and that we received free installation... all courtesy of Monsoon? Unfortunately, we can only use it when the weather is nice.

That is some sweet custom door work you're sporting over there! NICE :) And even better that your worldly posessions are being brought out for the world to enjoy.

I always wondered what would keep doggies from dragging things out the doggy door to the yard. Tonya likes to drag socks and "things" out of our dresser. I can just imagine coming home to find my underwear all over the backyard.

Seriously nice work there, Monsoon. You've got a real future in this!

Monsoon The Engineer. Monsoon the Interior Decorator. So many choices. :)

Sprinkles the ADORABLE! Only one choice.

Hahaha! My cat did the same thing. I blamed my son for the longest time until I witnessed my cat pawing at a tiny little hole to make it bigger and out she went. Little furry stinkers!

Congrats on the doogy door! My hubby always complains when he has to take the dogs out. Maybe he should invest in a doggy door:)

That is so funny. My dog totally took out the whole screen door. At least the screen did not break through and my husband was able to hang it up.

oh, that sucks! lol (sorry if I'm laughing)

I swear, that snort of laughter you heard did NOT come from me. It really didn't. Ahem. So ummmm made it to Ace yet for them to restring your screen? :)

It makes me so happy to know that other children besides MINE are capable of total house destruction! I dont feel quite as bad now. Thanks for the reassurance. ;)

What a great post! It wasnt until I saw the "doggy door" that I realized who (or what) monsoon was! If you had two days with no in-house accidents, I'd leave the new doggy door.

It's wonderful when doggies are able to get to their "off-site meetings" on their own, isn't it? Just hope a kid or two doesn't get stuck trying to emulate the dog!
