Seeing the plate pattern made me smile... it's the pattern my family had during my childhood. :) So many memories!

We had that pattern of correal dishes when I was growing up too!

Ha ha, Monsoon is such a riot! I would love it if eggs came with ice cream inside, especially if it had the nutritional value of eggs. I would have about a gazillion chickens in my back yard. Seriously.
Well, if you let him taste it then he'll never ask for ice cream again! :)

This is how ignorant I am...actually not ignorant, more like stupid! I had boiled eggs before, so it's not like I didn't KNOW. But, I forgot (this is how long I go in between "cooking spells"). So, I boiled the water FIRST, and then tried to drop the eggs into the pot. Hmmm...the whole batch turned out like that. I seriously think I must have been of the mindframe that you should never START with things in the pot (or they'll burn?), but that you know, like pasta...you put it in later after the water is boiling.
I'm shaking my own head at myself.
Did it break open while it was boiling?
Ice cream inside would be so much better. (And I've had more boiled eggs that ended up like that than I care to admit.)
