Sanity or Patience: choose one.

Do you ever have one of those moments where you think, "HA! I am sane!" Then you step in dog poo with your bare feet and remember it was your idea to get the puppy...?

I Heart Art (and I want a new camera)

Art: an expression of ones self. It isn't always pretty, not everyone will like it, and each person who experiences it will come away with an impression that is altogether different than the last.
***
These are some of my favorite photos taken with my current Kodak Easyshare. They're from our vacation last summer to South Carolina. Looking at them again makes me want to drive down right this minute....

This might be my very favorite, taken by Monsoon as we waited to board our carriage for a tour of Charleston:

** We Heart Art is a celebration of all things artsy and will be going on all week over at Three Bay B Chicks, Domestically Challenged, and I'm living proof that God has a sense of humor. To participate with your own art post, stop by and sign up with Mr. Linky at all three sites on Wednesday or Thursday and, if you know Francesca, you already know there are plenty of giveaways! **

Great pictures! That's some scary looking water in the fourth one. We did the carriage tour while we were in Charleston, too. Great fun.

Way to go Monsoon. I love seeing things through the eyes of a child. And oh, what is it about a pier?

Those are great pictures. They show what an eye you have for taking pictures. Now, it is time for the Canon 5D, right? My hubs has his sitting on my dresser, if it doesn't move soon, I am going to start shooting away!

Really great pictures. I think my favorite is the one of the pier with the waves rolling in. I love the subtle colors. And I like the carriage one too. (Aren't those carraige rides fantastic? I want to go back now too).

Question, did the colors in these (obviously not the black and whites) just come out like this or did you do something to them in photoshop? My husband got me photoshop for Christmas and just can't seem to "get it."

The on on the pier with that GIANT wave rolling in is breathtaking. I love it! Why doesn't my Kodak Easyshare take great pic like that?! Maybe it's user error :)

I'm partial to the black and white photos. I think that when you take away the distraction of color, you can see the picture the way it really looks. Strange impression?

My favorite is the waves and the pier sticking out into the huge swell. Looks like somebody would be getting wet. But maybe just a GREAT camera angle! Nice job. I'd want to go back too.
