Sanity or Patience: choose one.

Do you ever have one of those moments where you think, "HA! I am sane!" Then you step in dog poo with your bare feet and remember it was your idea to get the puppy...?

I've been reading Manic Mother's blog for a couple of months now, and when I stopped by the other day, she was sharing some life-altering news. Not the good kind. Her son, who is two, was diagnosed last week with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. She's probably still in shock, the news being so recent, but her sweet baby is facing 3 years of chemo. I can only imagine how lonely and frightened she must be feeling, so please take just a moment to visit Manic Mother and offer up some words of comfort, or even just a quick hello.

I will also say a prayer for her family. I can't even fathom this...

A horrible piece of news, for sure. Thanks for reaching out and telling us about it.
