Sanity or Patience: choose one.

Do you ever have one of those moments where you think, "HA! I am sane!" Then you step in dog poo with your bare feet and remember it was your idea to get the puppy...?

Not Me! NOT a slacker.

Not Me Monday.... really late.

Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week.

I did NOT spend the entire past week moping about. I was NOT rejected, not at all, not even a little bit. I am NOT sniffling and whining right now while no one is home and I absolutely do NOT care if my short stories stink. Because of course they do NOT.

Speaking of rainbows and sunshine, I also did NOT break my favorite flip-flops when I stepped out of the car in the Church parking lot Sunday, because I would NOT ever wear flip-flops to Church.

I have NOT been slacking on posts and positively have NOT regretfully neglected 99% of you in the last week (or maybe two). If you need to feel better (because we all know how awesome and important I am, so of course you've noticed how I haven't been around) I also did NOT forget to take my final exam for yoga and surely will NOT subsequently fail. Yoga. I will NOT say it again: Fail Yoga. Yoga!

I'm feeling so totally zen right now.

You're going to fail yoga???? What's up with that?

Just kidding. SNAP OUT IF IT!!!

Did that help? No, well then go eat some bread. The problem is that you've been neglecting yourself.

They messed up if they did not pick you. Your short stories are made of win. Try again, and someone will see. And a little moping is sometimes necessary.

And don't worry about us. We'll all be here when you feel up for it. Sorry about your yoga & your sandals.

And ere I just thought you didn't like me anymore :)

Bummer you didn't get selected. And umm bummer on the yoga. So out of curiosity, what is the final exam for?

I did not hold my head this afternoon like it was about to explode. I did NOT (decidedly!) revert to the Ben & Jerry's Stressbusters Diet after school. I DID NOT give a single thought to having even more ice cream for dessert tonite!

Yoga is supposed to be all peaceful and serene. Failing seems so harsh! Maybe the instructor will take pity :D

Ptthhhttt. The short story Nazis have no taste.

I totally ripped out my flip-flops working in the yard this weekend, and I was actually...surprised! It's like an "oh!" moment, and you kind of feel affronted, don't you? Like they did it on purpose.

You and Joan of all Trades just had the saddest Not Me Mondays. I think you need a big big hug. Of course I am commenting on Thursday so I am really late. I hope you are feeling better.
