Here is Monsoon licking icing off his arm, and my Nano in the background. Scary, huh? Don't worry - she doesn't always look like that. In this shot, she's laughing hysterically. And probably peed her pants (sorry Nano).
Nano has a thing with hands. Usually she traces them on paper. Today was extra special - Monsoon's cookie hand! It wasn't supposed to look so spooky, but you know how dough gets after the 6th or 7th roll-out.
Yes, I still let him play with knives. 'Round here we call 'em kids knives.
The final product wasn't so creepy, unless you think of all the orange sugar that used to be in the glass bowl. Most of it ended up in Monsoon's tummy.
Maybe this final cookie is somewhat scary. It kind of looks like dog poo, but it was his favorite one.Give me your best shot is happening over at Better In Bulk. I love that you let him use "kid knives" :) You, my friend, are the best! And of course he loved the dog poop cookie, who wouldn't?? Happy Halloween!
I am laughing over the dog poo cookie! It's cracking me up that the frosting is the color of newborn diarrea...almost. LOL!
Thanks for heading me in the right direction for a recipe for whole wheat sugar cookies. Looks like lots of fun was had today!
I've been checking in just not commenting as I should. You'll forgive me, right? :)
I'm cracking up at the idea of a whole wheat sugar cookie. It seems like such an oxymoron to me :) Do you use agave nectar to make them?
Love how you let him do all the decorating -- so much fun. And what a neat hand idea!
That's the best looking doggy poopy I have ever seen!
I LOVE me some sugar cookies.....and I was thinking, I don't know why I wasn't invited to eat these (not the making part)...but then we came to the poo cookie and I decided it was better that I just stayed home. :)
I love it! The cookie hand did me in.
