Sanity or Patience: choose one.

Do you ever have one of those moments where you think, "HA! I am sane!" Then you step in dog poo with your bare feet and remember it was your idea to get the puppy...?

An Introduction, of sorts...

  • Welcome Ultimate Blog Party-goers from 5 Minutes for MomUltimate Blog Party 2009

In the spirit of springtime, new bloggy friends, the UBP '09 and - eh, forget it, I just want to talk about myself. Here is a short introduction list of things pertaining to me and my blog, for all of you who have spare time and don't want to spend it cleaning your house
  • The name of this page is what it is because I have a knack for kicking dead horses - but they never do get back up and walk again, so I'm trying my hand at laughing them off instead. (What? It still doesn't make sense? Huh...).

  • I understand that most of you, as dirty as your houses may be, have other blogs to read. Aside from this one, I to keep my posts fun-sized.

  • If you ever see something here that sounds mean, it wasn't meant to be read that way. Unless it's about my in-laws.

  • I'm thinking about taking Sundays off from the blogsophere, washing a dish or saying hello to my husband... who knows what could happen.

  • Cate wondered at one point what to call me (Ryan? Ashley? It's too many words!). My Blockbuster card says Rashley. Anything but that will be fine.

  • If a post looks long, remember that it's narrow and the font size is "LARGE" so everyone can read it easily and move about the blogosphere in a jiffy. I don't want to scare anyone off... and into doing laundry or anything. And yes, I might be begging a little bit... please read my blog! Please! Read this! Paleeease...! Pathetic, aren't I?
Welcome new friends from SITS and 5M4M, hope you made it down this far - I appreciate all the time you spent staring into my space. Go check out the Ultimate Blog Party '09 to find more blogs and enter to win cool prizes like one of several $50 Target GCs from Shoot-Me-Now, Agoosa or : Beginner Baby Blog. And if you're really into putting off those dishes, here are some of my bloggy friend's favorite posts:

I little re-introduction to one of my favorite bloggers. Thank you! Nice to meet you...again.

Taking a day away from the blogosphere is a very good thing. I refer to it as "blogging within boundaries." It feels good. Our day off is Saturday.

However, since it is Sunday, I am back on the job. Wanted to let you know that I will be following up on our little exchange about an upcoming idea later today. Haven't flaked, just been busier than I expected.

Talk to you soon,

Francesca

RAS - which is what I am calling for now, until I change my mind. Umm, my point... I've decided that I need to manage my time better. So from now on, I'm scheduling my Sat/Sun posts on Fri. Then if I WANT to write something on the weekend, I can. But I don't feel like I have to. Same with reading/commenting. Though all those posts in my reader sorta spazzed me this morning. Yeah, I lost my point again. But I shall never call you Rashley.

had a good chuckle at some of your posts. I think I may have nightmares about the grumpy fairy at your 5K. I also think I may just follow you if I can find the button.

Happy UBP '09! Love your blog which is why I am already a follower. :)

Thanks for singing "You Remind Me of The Babe" on my UBP post. You know what is sad, is that I have that soundtrack.
